how did that feel — stiff ★ to flowing ★★★★★?
A wooden artist’s figure strikes a pose and a ring counts down. Draw the one line the whole body flows along — head, down through the hips, out along the leading arm or leg. Artists call that curve the line of action, and the very first pose of your first round shows it to you before asking for it.
Up to 5 strokes, in any order, then press done ✓ — every stroke you draw is scored as part of one line, so lifting to reposition (which a trackpad has to do) costs nothing.
Score is soft on purpose: 60% how closely your line followed the true one, 40% your own read of how it felt — gesture is feel, not tracing. The tolerance has a pixel floor and is eased for pen, mouse or finger; the HUD says which.
Studio tip: if the pose toppled over, which way would it fall? Draw that. One line first, whole body.
Your last 12 gestures collect in the strip below. That growing sketchbook page is the real prize.
