Slide each paint's share until your mix matches the target, then lock it in. Every colour opens on a deliberately-off blend, so there is always a gap to close. Only the balance between sliders matters — 80/40 mixes the same colour as 40/20 — and the % beside each slider shows its real share. The ± buttons step by exactly 1 — hold one down and it runs, the same way holding an arrow key on a focused slider does. Four colours per round; the last two add a third paint.
Scored by ΔE — how far apart your eye reads the two halves. Under 3 they look identical; 26 apart scores zero. The reveal shows the true ratios next to yours — of each pair of bars the flat one on top is your share and the taller outlined one below it is the true share — and says which way the mix missed (too light, too warm…).
Studio tip: get the lightness right first. “squint ◐” drops the colour out of both halves and leaves only light and dark — it is available the whole time, not just after you lock in.
